SERIES OF GUEST LECTURES ORGANISED AT GNI ON 12-04-2012

Constantly taking steps for all-round development of its students, Guru Nanak Institute of Management (GNIM) organized guest lectures at its premises on Thursday 12th April, 2012. The first one involved Mr. P.J. Singh, who is the Managing Director of Tynor Orthotics (P) Ltd. Mr. Singh addressed students regarding entrepreneurs and their skills required in the modern era. He stressed that students require practical orientation & creative thinking to emerge as successful entrepreneurs.

The second one involved Ms. Vishwakirti Bhan, who spoke on “Changing Role of HR in today’s corporate scenario”. Ms. Bhan has a distinguished career, with domestic and international exposure in varied organizations. She has worked with MNCs like Quark, Trident, etc. apart from working with Noted group based at Melbourne, Australia. She has also acted as a consultant to Govt. of India on effective e-governance.
Dr. A.K. Bansal, Principal, GNIM thanked the distinguished guests for the valuable experiences that they shared with GNIians. Dr. Sachin Chawla, Dean, GNI stated that such guest lectures are a routine affair at GNI which are aimed at constantly exposing students to practical aspects of what they study in theory.
