Eligibility Criteria

• Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology from any recognized board / university within India
• Obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

Admission Procedure

75% seats to be filled up through On-Line Counselling by Haryana State Counselling Society and remaining 25% seats to be filled up by the Institute. Besides, 25% Management seats, the seats remaining vacant after final round of allocation of seats through On-Line Centralized Counselling, will be filled up by the Institute firstly on the basis of AIEEE merit and thereafter on the merit of qualifying exam(10+2).

The Lateral Entry Scheme (LEET) - For Diploma Students
For direct admission to B. Tech. 2nd year under lateral entry scheme the eligibility conditions are : 

1. Passed Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution; with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.
2. Passed B. Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject.
3. Provided that in case of students belonging to B. Sc. Stream, shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics / Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year engineering program along with the second year subjects.
4. Provided further that, the students belonging to B. Sc. Stream shall be considered only after filling the supernumerary seats in this category with students belonging to the Diploma stream.
5. Provided further that students, who have passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology from an AICTE approved institution or B. Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, shall also be eligible for admission to the first year Engineering Degree courses subject to vacancies in the first year class in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted. However the admissions shall be based strictly on the eligibility criteria as mentioned in a, b, d, and e above.
